Just think of the smiles on your students’ faces when they finally have that a-ha moment! The great thing about teaching young children is that they have an innate desire to know more about the world. Sadly, this innate love of learning is often squelched at an early age. As teachers, we make a big impact on our students’ future love of learning by simply allowing them to learn in a way that’s not only educational but also fun. This week we will be doing just that as we engage in Science Isn’t Spooky Lessons. I have put together a collection of hands-on activities that coincide with the season from my favorite scientist Steve Spangler. Students will engage in scientific practices and witness the engineering design process, all the while learning content in a fun, hands-on way! Use the lesson plans and view the videos to get ready for an unforgettable learning experience! If you have any great ideas you would like to share please scroll down and leave a comment in the box! Happy Fall Ya’ll!
